2013 Reading Roundup Celebration

Our students had a really good time at the Reading Roundup celebration. The activities were very interactive and students really enjoyed a day of Reading.

Geometry in Action

The floor shapes our 5th graders have been using to study perimeter and area have sparked a lot of interest from all of our grade levels. In these pictures our 2nd and 4th graders are working with the shapes.

4th grade Jamestown Field Trip

Our 4th graders had a great trip to Jamestown despite leaving In a snowstorm and braving cold temps. They learned lots, had a great time and, as always, represented our school well.

3rd Grade Musical

Ms. Yanagawa, Mr. Fay, the 3rd grade team and our students did a Marvelous job with our 3rd grade musical. Our parents did a great job with props, the scenery was superb, and as usual there was a packed house. . Great Job Everyone!

Creightons Corner Odyssey Teams shine at Regionals

CCES teams placed 2nd and 3rd in the Region 16 Odyssey of the Mind Tournament at Park View High School on Saturday. Our "The Email must go through" Team placed second and our Balsawood Construction Team placed Third. All of our teams placed in the top Eight in their problem.

Colt teams were extremely strong (3 or more teams placed in the top 3 for their group) in the "Spontaneous" category where teams have to come up with quick, creative answers to a problem that is unknown to them before the competition.

We appreciate all of the hard work put in by our coaches and our teams.
